One day, Mina decided that it was time she and Skye had a 'Mother and Son' day out together.  So the very next day, she took him out in the car to go wherever the hearts content.  This also meant that Tails and Melody would now have a 'Father and Daughter' day together at home.
So, after Mina and Skye had left, Tails walked into Melody's room to find her lying down on her bed and reading a book.
"Hi, Melody," he said to her.  "You wanna play?  'Cause there's nothing else I'd rather do right now, and we've the whole day to ourselves!"
Melody lowered the book she was reading from her face to show a big smile on it.  She then put the book down by her bedside table.
"I've been thinking about myself, Dad," she told Tails.  "And there's something that I'd really like to play right now."
"And what might that be?" Tails asked her, sitting down beside her on her bed.
"Dad, I want you to tickle me!" Melody told him, grabbing hold of his hand with both of hers.
"Are you sure about that?" Tails asked her back, feeling quite surprised of his daughter just asked him to do.
"Come on, Daddy!  Tickle me!  Please?!" Melody begged as she tugged at her father's arm.
"Alright, if that's really what you want!" Tails replied, removing Melody's grip from his arm.
He then began to wiggle his fingers under her arms.  Melody giggled out loud and kicked feet lightly.

"You really are ticklish, aren't you?" Tails told her.
"Come on, Dad.  Tickle me some more!" Melody begged.
"Not to mention, a 'Tickle Lover'!" Tails pointed out, before he began to tickle her belly.
Melody giggled out even louder.  But still she wanted to be tickled more.  So Tails had her bend her legs at the knees, and then began to tickle them.
"Heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee!" giggled Melody.
"You've had enough yet?" Tails asked her, after he'd stopped tickling.
"No way, we're just getting started!" replied Melody, still giggling a bit from the experience.
"Good, I was hoping you would say that!" Tails remarked at her with a grin.  "Because I had something 'extra special' planned for you next!"
With that, he reached down, took hold of Melody's left foot, and pulled off her shoe to reveal her bare, furry, yellow, three-toed foot.  And as Tails laid the shoe down on the floor, his daughter held up her right foot with the shoe still on it and shook it about.  So he took off the other shoe and placed down on the floor beside the other, while she put her now other bare foot beside the other.

"Hope you're ready for this," Tails told her.
"Oh, come on, Dad," replied Melody.  "This is what I've been waiting for the whole time!"
She waggled her feet on the bed.
"Okay, you asked for it!" said Tails, and began to wiggle his fingers along Melody's left sole.
"Heeheeheeheehahahahahahahahaha!" Melody laughed, holding her stomach.
After Tails stopped tickling to give her a breather, she waggled her right foot, telling him to tickle that one as well, which he did.  And again, Melody laughed out loud.
"Now *pant* do them *pant* both!" she said to Tails, once he'd finished tickling her right sole.
Gosh, she's even more of a 'tickle lover' than I thought, Tails thought to himself.  But still, he did as she asked and tickled both of her soles at once.
"HEEHEEHEEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Melody laughed, harder than ever before.
It tickled so much she began to wiggle all six of her long, pointy toes.  And that gave Tails an idea.  So he stopped tickling her soles.
"Alright Melody, I've got one last place to tickle you," he told her.  "I hope you like having your toes tickled!"
And before Melody could speak, Tails began to wiggle his fingers underneath her toes.  Immediately she began laughing out loud.  Louder than she'd ever laughed in her whole life!
Tails even began to tickling on the tops of toes, and even tickled a bit on the very tips of toes.  Melody was having so much fun that she spread her toes apart so Tails could tickle in between them.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  OHOHOHOHOHO YAH!  THAHAHAHAHAHAT'S THE SPOHAHAHAHAHAHAT!" Melody laughed.

Eventually, Tails fought they'd both had enough fun and stopped tickling.  For a moment Melody just laid on the bed with her eyes shut, arms and legs spread apart and breathing heavily.  Tails sat down on the bed beside her and put a hand on her cheek.
"You okay, Sweetheart?" he asked her.
Melody opened her eyes and looked at him.
"I'm fine, Daddy," she told him.  "That was the best!"
With that she sat up and wrapped her arms around her father.  Tails smiled and hugged her back warmly.
After breaking from their hug, Tails kept his hands on Melody's shoulders.
"You know," he said to her.  "We've still got the whole day to ourselves.  What do you say we go and have a nice Father and Daughter morning in the park?"
"Sounds great," replied Melody, grabbing her shoes to put back on.  "Maybe while we're there, we can have the grass tickle my feet some more!"
Tails laughed, and took her hand.  And they both headed out the door together.
